Clematis Vine
This beautiful glass is blown by artisans in Brazil and is substantial weighty glass with a thick dark blue color on the inside cased in clear and fading to clear at the base. The clematis vine was a gift from a friend several years ago, grows up the wall to the roof of my house and when it blooms in the spring it is a solid mass of white blooms. Really sometimes I don’t think another flower could possible squeeze in.
I have spaced the blooms out a bit on the vase so they can be seen more clearly, and again, I drew my artwork from the art of my garden. The lip of the vase is carved away with leaves giving a very nice contrast of the lighter blasted glass and the dark blue color of the inside.
Blue/clear 14" tall.
vase.
