Etched and Sand Carved Art Glass by Cynthia Myers

The wing tip of the Egret in Flight is 'cut-away' at the top of the vase and reaches above the surrounding trees. One feather at a time is sandblasted into the glass giving the Egret depth and detail, although this technique is very time consuming, I am happy with the results the shadowing achieves.

There are several tall trees that stand behind the Egret that give the illusion that the bird is in flight.  This piece stands 14" tall and can be made in a few colors not shown.  Give me a call use my contact form if you have questions.
